HTTP > Applets and ActiveX > Policies | Add
Enable policy—Enable or disable the individual policy within the context of the global Enable Applet/ActiveX security option on the Policy List page.
Note: If the global setting for an Applet or ActiveX security policy is disabled, the policy-specific setting will be overridden.
Policy name—Type a brief but descriptive name for the policy rule. Names must be unique, and will appear in the main policy list.
Identification—Specify to whom the policy applies. If the LDAP (proxy) authentication method is enabled on the User Identification page, then enter the LDAP User or Group name. Otherwise, type an IP address, a range of IP addresses, IP subset, or specify the host name. Note that the host name user identification does not work with applets because the HTTP request for the applet code is issued by a Java plugin, and not Internet Explorer, which adds the special hostname header to the request enabling this method.
