Administration > IWSVA Configuration > Replication Configuration
Provides IWSVA device registration and configuration replication from an IWSVA source instance to an IWSVA receiver instance. When you would like to copy the policies and configuration files of one IWSVA device to one or more other IWSVA destinations on a manual or recurring basis, use Replication Configuration.
Note: This feature does not support HA models.
The following replication types are supported:
Manual Replication - You can manually select the replication scope for policy and configuration replications. If the configuration replication is included, the IWSVA service must be restarted.
Policy Replication - Includes a reload function. Policies can take effect without a service restart.
Policy & Configuration Replication - Includes a restart function on receiver. Policy and configuration replication are supported.
Scheduled Replication - Includes a reload function. Policy and configuration replication are supported.
Open the IWSVA Web console and click Administration > IWSVA Configuration > Replication Configuration.
Choose a server role, whether standalone (default), source, or receiver.
If source, check Configuration replication source and click Save. A pop-up message appears to confirm a successful replicate source has been established. Click OK.
If receiver, continue with the following steps.
Check Configuration receiver and enter a replication source management IP address, port, and security protocol.
Specify the password of the Replication Source Administrator Account (admin). The policy and configuration replication occurs hourly by default.
Click Save.
Select the "Configuration replication source" server role.
Click Save. When the Receiver List appears, select the receiver you would like to replicate.
Click Replicate Now.
Choose the desired method of replication on the pop-up that appears and click OK.
The Source Configuration will replicate to receive after a manual replication has completed.
Set Scheduled Replication on the source and log on to the source server's shell command with the 'root' account.
Use a vim editor to modify the value for the key replicate_freq= in /etc/iscan/intscan.ini file. Choose the frequency you would like IWSVA to perform the scheduled replication (0~24 in hours, 0 means disable).
Click Save.
